shadow branches

Spring has sprung in Boston! I love spending time in the Garden when it's nice out.

birthday beauties

What better way to celebrate my 20th birthday today than by seeing some of the most unique things this city has to offer. In no particular order of uniqueness:

Lavender ladies getting ready for a group shot.

MIT's Stata Center, being strange as always.

Even stranger from ever angle you look at it.

Quote on a fence of craziness next to my new apartment.
Peppermint striped tulips.
Oh hey, I'm a red tulip.. just being unique.
Street art in Cambridge.

Funny bird doing yoga poses in the Garden.

Ending my day with a completely normal, yet wonderfully beautiful sight of the pond in the Garden. I love my city and all of it's Mayday craziness.

lone man

A lonely old man sitting in the Garden. I think he was reading the newspaper.

branched

So many trees, so many birds.

what the duck?

Visiting my duck friends in the Public Garden today was so much fun. We always have wonderful conversations about the homeless and squirrels. I'll be back to see them again soon.

The ducks in the Garden always remind me of this book that I used to have read to me when I was little. There's actually a memorial in the Garden dedicated to this book!

bench love

Sunday walk in the Garden. Benches exchange wise words, listen to them.

Some squirrels loving the nice weather on Friday.

blue jay, blue day

From another walk in the Garden. So many birds were out yesterday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Boston. This blue jay was going off on a peanut.

oh, the trees!

The first signs of spring are showing in Boston... finally!

winter gardeners

The Boston Public Garden Bridge. I like the color of willow trees in the winter.

It was a nice day for a walk in the garden.
