molly and neve

Little cousins Molly and Neve playing in the horse trailer at Molly's fifth birthday party.

Beautiful little Neve in her fuzzy sweater!

escalators of color

New York, New York! Look familiar? This is the colorful wall in Times Square's magical Toys R Us. It was probably the highlight of my entire time spent in Times Square, not necessarily because it was SO AWESOME, but because I'm not really into the whole NYC thing. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have ended up in the city at all if Phish wasn't having their New Years run at Madison Square Garden. Yes, I was lucky enough to get tickets... only to the first night, but one is better than none! Pictures of MSG and the show will be soon to come.

Another photo from Thanksgiving. This is my grandfather, Pops, resting after a big meal.

thanksgiving sunset

After stuffing my face with tofurky, salad, and potatoes at my relatives' home in Scarborough, Maine, I took a quick swing by the beach. I am so glad I was able to catch this great sunset.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for memories like this.

post-hamburger

Babysitting again today. Mom brought them home McDonald's (sick) and Molly ended up with ketchup splattered all over her face.

super ball ix: a three day festival

Yes, I went to Super Ball IX. Yes, I stood in the front row for approximately twelve total hours of the best music. Yes, it was the most amazing weekend ever. No, I did not get sunburnt. I wear sunscreen.

PS if you know how I can get a photographer/VIP pass to any Phish shows or festivals, hook me up! I was so jealous of the people that didn't have to illegally smuggle their "professional" cameras into the stage area. Luckily I'm good at smuggling large cameras past security :)

Trey and Mike jamming at the afternoon set of day two.

The lights were awesome, as always.

This was an accidental picture, but look at the emotion! You're at a fantastic Phish show--be the happiest! I also think he should consider the blue man group.

Glowstick wars are THE ONLY type of war that should ever occur. EVER. They do kind of hurt though, but they are so much fun. And colorful.

Trey and Mike again, day two first night set.

Rainbow Phish. Page, Trey, Mike, and Fishman are being the coolest and jamming amazingly.

Coming out of the fog.

From the top of the ferris wheel looking down at the festival and stage area.

Antelope Greg in action.

Night three...During Big Balls, there were big balls. It was so much fun. PS this guy looks like a magician.

Meat Stick-ing

The entire band prepping for the Star-Spangled Banner.

Sorry Fishman, couldn't get you in the shot.

Jealous of the license plate.

sandy cheeks

It's true, I'm the creeper at the beach always taking pictures of other people. This little boy was running around pantsless from his mom. He got distracted and sat down in the waves though, and she had time to catch up to him. Now you know why this is called "sandy cheeks".

birthday beauties

What better way to celebrate my 20th birthday today than by seeing some of the most unique things this city has to offer. In no particular order of uniqueness:

Lavender ladies getting ready for a group shot.

MIT's Stata Center, being strange as always.

Even stranger from ever angle you look at it.

Quote on a fence of craziness next to my new apartment.
Peppermint striped tulips.
Oh hey, I'm a red tulip.. just being unique.
Street art in Cambridge.

Funny bird doing yoga poses in the Garden.

Ending my day with a completely normal, yet wonderfully beautiful sight of the pond in the Garden. I love my city and all of it's Mayday craziness.
