petal picking

So many geese that need to eat, so many petals to be eaten.

birthday beauties

What better way to celebrate my 20th birthday today than by seeing some of the most unique things this city has to offer. In no particular order of uniqueness:

Lavender ladies getting ready for a group shot.

MIT's Stata Center, being strange as always.

Even stranger from ever angle you look at it.

Quote on a fence of craziness next to my new apartment.
Peppermint striped tulips.
Oh hey, I'm a red tulip.. just being unique.
Street art in Cambridge.

Funny bird doing yoga poses in the Garden.

Ending my day with a completely normal, yet wonderfully beautiful sight of the pond in the Garden. I love my city and all of it's Mayday craziness.

furry edges

If your two lips were as fringy as these tulips, you'd be pretty weird looking.

the flowered ones

These are my mom's favorite trees in Boston right now. She tried to get pictures this weekend while she was down visiting, but it didn't work out for her. So I decided to post these so she can see. The old man in the first one seemed pretty cool too. It took him probably an entire minute or two to walk past these two trees. Slow but determined.

ps this is the background to my new phone! get cool covers for your phone here, so it doesn't get as scratched as mine did!
